Roots: Roots are the minerals providing parts of the plant. Root hairs(present on the roots) act like straws which extract groundwater and other minerals for the plants. They even help in maintaining the soil from being eroded by holding all the particles tight.

Stem: Stem is useful to provide support, act as a pipeline for transportation, respire, during transpiration etc. Some stems have thorns to protect the plants from predators. Stem transfer all the required elements to prepare glucose using xylem and phloem tissues.

Leaves: Leaves play a major role in producing glucose in presence of chlorophyll and sunlight by using carbon dioxide, water and minerals. This process is known as photosynthesis. Leaves have stomata which are responsible for exchange of gases and provide us with oxygen.

Flowers: They are the reproductive part of the plant which form seeds. The stamen(male part) produces pollen graisn which are developed in the ovary of the carpel(female part). Flowers attract insects and other small animals using their fragrance and colours for pollination.

Seed: It the embryo of the carpel which develops into a new plant. It is surrounded by cotyledon/s and seed coat.

Fruit: Fruits store excess food produced by the plant around the seeds.
