The carpel(Gyanoecium) is the female reproductive part of a flower.

Style
Ovary
The Ovary contains the female German cell
It consists of a nucleus, and a secondary nucleus.
The nucleus,after fertilization, turns into the embryo and the secondary nucleus after it's fertilization, becomes the endosperm which provides nutrition to the growing embryo.
