There were four dynasties which ruled over Vijayanagar- Sangama Dynasty, Saluva Dynasty, Tuluva Dynasty and Aravidu Dynasty. It was the first dynasty to rule over the Vijaynagar empire. The founders of the empire, Harihar I and Bukka belonged to this dynasty.
