Buckminsterfullerene is the third newly discovered allotrope of carbon which has 60 atoms in its molecules, therefore, it is represented by C(60).It is also known as macromolecules as it has 60 atoms of carbon. It is also the pure form of carbon like the diamond and graphite which both represented by - C.
