Alpha cells, Beta cells, Delta cells and pancreatic polypeptide cells in the pancreas. They release certain juices in the body such as somatostatin which inhibits the secretion of glucagon by alpha cells and secretion of insulin by beta cells, etc. To add more points as per it doesn't fit the criteria: The thyroid gland which is usually called and it is the largest endocrine gland located anterior to the thyroid cartilage of the larynx in the neck region (if seen dorso-ventrally). They release the hormones which are secreted by the anterior lobe of pituitary gland as, the gland is stimulated to release or secrete it's hormones by thyroid stimulating hormone (also called thyrotropin).
