Answer:
Golgi apparatus consists of a set of membrane bounded ,fluid filled vesicles, vacuoles and flattened cisternae (closed sacs). the Golgi apparatus arises from the membrane of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum which is done originates from the rough endoplasmic reticulum.
FUNCTIONS
1 The main function of Golgi apparatus is Secretory. Golgi apparatus acts as a way station or assembly area for the storage, processing and Packaging of various Cellular secretions.
2 It producers vacuoles or secretory vesicles which contain cellular secretions .
3 Golgi apparatus is also involved in the synthesis of cell wall , plasma membrane and lysosomes

In plants, the Golgi apparatus is comparatively smaller.
They are called dictyosomes.
So, the difference is :
1) Dictyosomes are smaller in size than the golgi body in animal cells.
2) The foldings (cisternae) are dispersed in plant cells where as it is tightly stacked in animal cells
