Name the experiment evidence to support the wave nature of light.

   Scientist in the earlier days had so much confusion in the properties of Light, whether it has wave or particle. Light is an electromagnetic wave and is transversal in nature.

     To verify the light’s wave nature, Thomas Young conducted experiments based on “diffraction and interference”. He conducted the single slit and double slit experiments. “Young’s double slit experiment”  put forward strong evidence to the wave nature of light.
