hey mate here is your answer

Momentum is directly proportional to mass and velocity. Therefore mass and velocity are the factors on which velocity depends.

I hope this helps you

Momentum is a very important quantity of Physics and is of wide applications.

Its a vector quantity which gives an idea about the motion of a body. It can be both translational and rotational(Angular Momentum).

For translational motion, it is expressed as

P= m.v

Mathematically, it is the product of Mass and Velocity of a body
The momentum of a body depends upon the following factors :

(i) Mass of a body.

(ii) Velocity of a body.

for angular momentum
Mathematically, L= r × P (vector cross product)

Where P is its linear momentum and r is its distance from its axis of rotation.

Also, for light , its momentum is expressed as(according to particle theory of light)

Momentum, P = E/c

where E is the energy of the wave and c is the speed of light.
