Mansar is a very attractive Lake in the midst of lusting greeneries surrounded by forest-covered hills. It is a very popular base of tourists. A temple for a Snake God, Sheshnag, is located on the banks of Lake.
Sheshnaag Shrine. It has a snake protruding with six heads and is located on the eastern bank of the lake.
The shrine has a big boulder on which there are many iron chains that may represent the small serpents that are waiting there for the protection of Sheshnag.
There are two ancient temples of Narasimha and Umapati Mahadev along with a Durga temple that is there near to the Mansar lake. Visitors like a holy dip in the lake's water on festive occasions.
