Answer: Victoria Terminus and Kurla
Explanation:
The first electric train in India ran between Victoria Terminus and Kurla on the Harbour Line on 3rd February in the year 1925. It ran on the ex-GIP Railway system. It was electrified on 1500 Volt DC.
The electric traction was then extended on Central Railway upto the Northeast line upto Igatpuri and Pune on Southeast. On 5th January 1928, 1500 Volt DC traction was started between Colaba and Borivili on the Suburban section of Western Railway . Similarly on 15th January 1931 it was launched between Madras Beach and Tambaram of Southern Railway.
This helped India to establish about 388 KM of DC electrification before attaining independence.
Hope this helps.
