FIVE JEWELS OF BUDDHISM :
Gautama Buddha, founder of Buddhism suggested five jewels of Buddhism. These jewels are must to be followed.
They are :
• Do not injure anyone's life.
• Do not steal property of others.
• Not to use intoxicants.
• Do not speak lie.
• Not to have any property.
The above are five jewels. According to Buddhism there are four noble truths.
They are :
• Every cause of suffering is desire.
• Suffering is caused by the desire.
• The suffering can be removed by removing desire.
• The desire can be removed through eight fold path.
