Name the forces acting on a plastic bucket conteining water held above ground level inyour hand .Discuss why the forces acting on the bucket do not bring a change in its state of motion.​

Muscular force is used to hold the bucket containing the water and gravitational force is pulling the water down. Here, both muscular force and gravitational force are equal. Therefore, there is no change in state of motion of bucket.

So,Force due to the action of our body muscle is Muscular force.

Force attracting two objects with masses is Gravitational force.

Thus,Forces acting on a plastic bucket containing water held above the ground level in our hand are muscular forces and gravitational forces.

Both the forces,The muscular and gravitational forces are same in magnitude(size),That is they are equal but in opposite directions and therefore there is no change in state of its motion.
