Here are the four cognitive stages of childhood development as identified by Jean Piaget: Sensorimotor Stage: Birththrough about 2 years. During this stage, children learn about the world through their senses and the manipulation of objects. Preoperational Stage: Ages 2 through 7.

The four stages are:

1) ➡️ sensorimotor - birth to 2 years; preoperational

2) ➡️ 2 years to 7 years; concrete operational

3)➡️ 7 years to 11 years; and formal operational (abstract thinking)

4)➡️ 11 years and up. Each stage has major cognitive tasks which must be accomplished.

Hope this helps you mate ☺️☺️✌️✌️✨✨
