Answer:

There are four canine teeth in both primary and permanent dentitions. The premolars, unlike the incisors and canines, have a flat biting surface. Their function is to tear and crush food. They are unique to the permanent dentition which has eight premolars.

Hey

The four types of teeth in our mouth are :-

Incisors

Cannine

Pre molars

Molars

The Dental formula is {2,1,2,3}

Total no.of teeth = 32

Incisors = 2 x 4 = 8

Cannine = 1 x 4 = 4

pre molars = 2 x 4 = 8

molars = 3 x 4 = 12
