Name the gas envolved when dilute HCL reacts with sodium hydrogen carbonate. How is it recognized?

carbon dioxide gas will be released after NaHCO3 reacts with the H+ ion of HCl

Here devil1407

They react with each other to form Carbon di oxide CO2.

It can be recognised by passing it through lime water which turns it milky.

And Sodium Carbonate is formed.
