Name the gas evolved when dilute HCI reacts with sodium hydrogencarbonate how is it recognized ?

Hydrogen is the gas I think so.

Reaction:
NaHCO3 + HCl ----------› NaCl + CO2 + H2O
Now, from this equation, we see that carbon dioxide gas is evolved. Thus can be tested by two principal ways:
1) Lighted splinter test by bringing a lighted splinter near the mouth of test tube.
2) Lime water test by blowing carbon dioxide through like water which will run milky.
