The largest plateau of India is the Deccan plateau that lies in the western and southern part of the country.


It rised to 100 meters in north and can be more than 1000 meters towards the south.


It forms a triangle with Western and Eastern Ghats on its sides.


It has the hills of Satpura and Vindhya ranges that forms the northern boundary of this plateau.
