There are basically two parts of  Pituitary gland which produces a number of different hormones & have different functions they are as follows :-

Anterior Pituitary :-

1. Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone (ACTH) ⇒ Produce cortisol hormone.

2. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) - Stimulates the functioning of the Thyroid gland.

3. Luteinising Hormone (LH) ⇒ Mainly helps in proper regulation of Male reproductive hormone called testosterone.

4. Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) ⇒ Produces estrogen.

5. Prolactin (PRL) ⇒ Stimulates milk production in females after giving birth to baby.

6. Growth Hormone (GH) - Stimulates the growth of the body.

Posterior Pituitary :-

1. Anti-diuretic Hormone (ADH) ⇒ It mainly has two primary & important  functions  to retain water in the body and to constrict blood vessels

2. Oxytocin ⇒ Responsible for uterine contractions during pregnancy and induces breast milk.
