Gibberellin hormone. Gibberellins play a important role in plant growth, seed germination, flowering process and fruit senescence.

Giberellins are produced in plastids of the plant cells are acidic in nature.

They promote stem elongation by increasing the water content of the cells in plant stem.

Dwarf plant like bonsai has extreme low concentration of gibberellin hormone are given synthetic gibberellins to stimulate growth.
