Explanation:
Heya mate :
1. Thyroid:-
Thyroxine hormone is secreted by thyroid gland. It regulates carbohydrate protein and fat metabolism for balance of body growth.
2. Pituitary:-
Pituitary glands secrets growth hormones. It regulated growth and development of body.
3. Pancreas:-
Pancreas secrets insulin. It regulates/decreases the blood sugar level.
(a) THYROID : This gland secrets the popular hormone called as thyroxine. Thyroxine controls the metabolic rate. Thyroxine is actually an iodine containing protein which stimulates growth rate.
(b) PITUITARY : This gland is often known as master gland. It controls activities of all other glands and also controls their respective secretions rate.
(c) PANCREAS : Pancreas is both exocrine and endocrine in function and hence is termed as mixed gland. Insulin, Glucagon and Somatostatin are the major secretions from pancreas. Insulin controls (limits) the glucose (sugar) level in blood whereas glucagon raises the level by stimulating the breakdown of glycogen in the liver to glucose.
