The imaginary line or the Geographical Coordinate that surpasses horizontally at the center of India is 82° 30’ East. This is the imaginary line from which Indian derive time according to the Prime Meridian.

The earth has been divided into twenty Four time zones with 15 degree of longitude and sustain one hour of each.
