Ajwain Paratha

Make a soft dough using 200 gms wheat flour, 2 tsp olive oil, ¼ cup hot water, salt to taste, 1 tbsp ajwain seeds and red chilli powder. You can also add chopped coriander leaves to the dough. Roll out thin triangular parathas using a rolling pin and then cook it on a tawa on low flame using ghee/oil till turns crispy. Serve hot with pickle and chai. 

Namak Pare

Take ½ cup wheat flour and ½ cup sooji. Make a dough using /4 cup refined oil, salt, red chilli powder and ajwain. Make sure that the dough is tight in texture. Now, divide the dough into medium size balls and use a rolling pin to make thin chapati shape out of it. Cut out namak pare using a knife or a kitchen scissor. In the meantime, take a deep-bottomed pan and add 2 cups refined oil/olive oil. Once its hot enough, add the cut outs and cook on low flame till they turn golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with chai or you can store them in air tight container for 15 days. 

Atta Halwa

Take ½ cup of wheat flour in a heavy-bottomed pan and start roasting it on low flame. Cook for 5-7 minutes and keep stirring. Once the colour of flour changes to golden brown, add 1 cup ghee to it and cook for 3-4 minutes. Now add 1 cup sugar or as per your taste. You can also use powdered sugar. Mix all the ingredients and add ¼ cup water and cook till it becomes thick. Garnish with chopped dry fruit and your atta halwa is ready.
