The respiration which uses oxygen is called as Aerobic respiration.

In aerobic respiration the glucose food is completely broken down into Carbon dioxide and water by oxidation.
Aerobic respiration also produces energy for use by organisms which get stored in the ATP molecules.

Chemical Reaction Involved :

                   glycolysis                Oxygen (Kreb's Cycle)
GLUCOSE--------------> Pyruvate -------------------> 6CO2 + 6H2O +38 ATP

Intermediate products are Pyruvate
End products are = CO2, WATER AND ATP

HEY!!

✔The first stage of aerobic respiration is glycolysis in which glucose molecule is broken down into two molecules of pyruvic acid.

✔Thus, pyruvic acid is the intermediate product of aerobic respiration.

✔ Pyruvic acid enters in mitochondria where it is converted into acetyl CoA.

✔ The acetyl CoA enters into Krebs/citric acid cycle where it is broken down to carbon dioxide and water.

✔ Thus, the end product of aerobic respiration is carbon dioxide and water and the released energy.
