Shri Darbar Sahib is also called Harmandir Sahib. Popularly known as the Golden Temple this Gurdwara is located in Amritsar. Guru Arjan Dev Ji, architecture this Gurdwara and its work was completed in 1601 AD. There are four entry gates to Golden Temple which depicts that all religions and people are welcome to the Gurdwara. In nineteenth century, it was covered by gold by the orders of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The temple is surrounded by Amrit Sarovar. The dome of the temple looks like a turned over lotus.
