Prairies are the temperate of grass land of north america . And it is region of flat or it may be slope or hilly land . These are treeless and lying by the low lying plane area, flanking area of river valleys.It covered the part of united states of America and Canada.

Following are the limits of Prairies :-
1. Climate : The climate of continental type has extreme temperature which lie between very hottest in summers and -20° in winters.
2. Flora and fauna : It is mainly treeless area but water is available some what trees are grown like willows, popular and alders. It receive approximate 50 cm of rainfall which is suitable for farming because their soil is fertile. Many crops are grown like maize, potato, soya bean , cotton. And animals are found is rabbit and dog.
3. People : In this area people are very hard working .
