Hello dear friend

Parenchyma is living component which is common to both the complex permanent tissues. Its function is to help in storage.

#function

parenchyma cells are alive at maturity. They function in storage, photosynthesis, and as the bulk of ground and vascular tissues. Palisade parenchyma cells are elogated cells located in many leaves just below the epidermal tissue

Answer:The parenchyma is the living component common to both the Phloem and Xylem tissues in theplants. It is used to store food and then generate the energy needed by the other complex tissues. The parenchymafunction is to store the food that helps in the sideways water conduction in the xylem.
