Answer:

Explanation:

The major eastern off shoots of Himalayas are as follows:

  • Darjeeling Himalaya
  • Sikkim Himalaya
  • Bhutan Himalaya
  • Arunachal Himalaya

The Eastern Himalayas comprises tracts of North Bengal or the Darjeeling Hills, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and eastern Bhutan. The region is fed by  the river Brahmaputra and its tributaries such as

  • the Teesta river which feeds the Darjeeling and Sikkim
  • the Manas river feeds part of  Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh.

Other rivers like Subansiri and  Kamang are the other rivers that feeds the eastern Himalayas.

The climatic region of  Eastern Himalayas can be divided into five parts such as : Temperate, Arctic, Sub-arctic, Subtropical, and Warm tropical. The forests out here are dense, moist, evergreen, temperate or semi-evergreen. The forest region experiences high humidity along with high precipitation . All along the foothills of this region we can see Sal forests and Evergreen trees .

Hope this helps.
