Answer:

a fuse wire is made of an element which has a lower melting point or higher according to our needs. normally it is made up of copper.

a fuse is connected in series in a circuit which prevents overloading. when excess current flows through it the fuse wire melts thus breaking the circuit.this is how a fuse works.

we have different capacities in fuse like 2ampere, 5A,10A.
