it's sodium as to avoid burning from atmosphere.to avoid burning we store in kerosene which prevents oxygen to reach sodium

SODIUM is the answer!

Sodium is very reactive metal, and reacts easily with atmospheric air and catches fire! that is why it should be stored in Kerosene Oil!
