Name the method employed in animal breeding which one is better and why
Answers
Answer:
There are two kinds of method usually done for animal breeding.
1) Natural breeding - Breeding of animals are done by mating between same breed, different breed or different species.
This is a natural process, where chances of getting the effective and viable result are less potent.
2) Artificial breeding - This is done either by artificial insemination where females are impregnated with semen directly and avoids the problem regarding conceiving if any or done by Multiple Ovulation Embryo technology.
In this process, embryos are formed by the hyperstimulation of ovary and semen. This embryo is then fostered into a mother who will act as a surrogate.
Therefore the artificial breeding process is more convenient and gives potent, viable result and hence this is the best way for animal breeding.
