The microorganisms that can make their own food by photosynthesis are the autotrophs.

Explanation:

1. There are orgnaisms that do not depend on others but they themselves has the capability to make food with the help of the process called photosynthesis. Such organisms are known as or termed as autotrophs.

2. They perform the process of photosynthesis by capturing light from the sun, water from the soil, and air from the atmosphere. With the help of these three factors, they prepare their food.

3. Also, these orgnaisms have a special pigment in their structure called chlorophyll which is green in color. This pigment helps in the photosynthesis process.
