. Shrimati Pratibha Singh Patil: She was the first woman President of India and remained in power from 25th July 2007 till 2012. She had also served as the Governor of Rajasthan. She was the first woman to fly on Sukhoi jet. She has also been conferred with Mexico's highest civilian award 'Order of the Aztec Eagle'.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam: Also known as the missile man of India, Kalam was the first scientist to hold the office of the President of India. He had also been given the Bharat Ratna award in the year 1977. He remained in office from 25th July 2002-2007 and served as the 11th President of India. KR Narayanan: He served his term from 25th July 1997 to 2002. He was the first Dalit President of India. He also described himself as the 'working president'. He hailed from Kerala and he was also appointed as the ninth vice-president of India in the year 1992.

Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma: He had also served as the chief minister of Bhopal and was elected as the ninth President on 25 July 1992. R. Venkataraman: Besides receiving 'Tamra Patra' for his major contribution in the freedom struggle for the country, he has also been conferred with Soviet Land Prize. He was elected for the term from 25th July 1987-1992.

Giani Zail Singh: He has also served as the chief minister of Punjab. He was the seventh President of India and he served the tenure from 25 July 1982-1987. Many important incidents such as Operation Blue Star, the assassination of Indira Gandhi and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots took place during his rule. He was also the first Sikh President of India.

Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy: He was also the first chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and he had served as the President from 25th July 1977-1982. He was the sixth President of India. He had also served as the key speaker of the Lok Sabha for two terms and was also the youngest-ever Indian President. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed: Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was the fifth President of India from 1974 to 1977. He was the second President who died in office. BD Jattha was made Acting President. FA Ahmed became India’s fifth president in 1974. He died of a heart attack in February of 1977.

VV Giri: He served his tenure from 24th August 1969 to 1974. He was the fourth President of India and was also conferred with the Bharat Ratna. Dr Zakir Husain: Dr Hussain was the first Muslim President of India and was also an Indian economist. He served his post from 13th May 1967-1969 as he died during his term. VV Giri was made the acting President after his death.

Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan: Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan had served as the first Vice-president of India and the second President of India. He served the tenure from 1962–1967. He was also an Indian academician and philosopher. His birthday on 5th September is celebrated as Teacher's Day across India. He has been conferred with many awards which also includes the Bharat Ratna and he also received a knighthood in 1931.

Dr Rajendra Prasad: He was the first President of India and he served the tenure from 26 January 1950-1962. He had served the office for two terms and he had been conferred with Bharat Ratna in 1962. He had joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian Independence Movement.
