1. BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY
BJP itself won 31%of all votes and 282 seats . NDA's combined vote share was 38.5%.
2. INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS
INC won 44 seats and 19.3% of all votes . It was the Congresss party's worst defeat in a general election.
3. COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA (MARXIST)
CPI (M) won 9 seats in 2014 general elections. CPI (M)'s vote share declined from 5.33%in 2009 polls to 3.2% in 2014 elections. Other national parties like Bahujan samaj party , communist party of india and national congress party achieved poor result in 2014 general elections.
