Hey!

The answer is peninsular plateau..

The peninsular plateau was a part of the Gondwana landmass  that broken apart in pieces and drifted apart..

Gondwana consisted of Antarctica, South America, Africa, Indian Peninsula as well as Australia..
When it broke apart, all these became separate landmasses...
And the peninsular plateau of India was formed..
