In males it is known as Spermatogenesis and takes place in testis, the sex organs of males.
In females, it takes place in ovaries, sex organs of females.
In males, it starts at the age of 13-14 years.
In female, it starts a bit early, 11-12 years.
It is the time when both males and females hit puberty.
Products formed are-
Males- Sperms
Females-Ova
