Explanation:

The ovaries produce the egg cells, called the ova or oocytes. The oocytes are then transported to the fallopian tube where fertilization by a sperm may occur.

The organs which produce egg (or ova) in humans are ovaries.

Explanation:

  • When the ova or oocytes is developed, then it is moved to fallopian tube.
  • During fertilisation process, it fuses with sperms to form zygote.
  • During reproductive cycle, the fertilised egg move to uterus where uterine lining is thickened.
  • If there is no fertilisation process, then uterine lining drops as menstrual flow.
  • When a female reaches certain age, she undergoes menopause where the female sex organ stops making female hormones.
  • Some of the female structures include labia majora, labia minora, Bartholin’s glands, clitoris, vagina, uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
