• This was the second tremor that month which had struck the  state. On July 5th, an "earthquake of 4.2 magnitude" was noted in Kutch district, Gujarat, some 14 Km away from Bhachau.
• In large parts of the Province, including  Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar & the northern area of Gujarat, mild to extreme tremors were felt. People came from the high rise apartments in Ahmedabad following the tremors.
