Name the part of the eye where image is formed by the eye lens and mention its structure. What is the nature of the image formed ? How is this image sent to the brain ?

the image is formed on the retina of the eye.the image formed will be real and inverted.this image is sent through optic lobes in inverted to the brain.the brain thus will show an erect image.

the image is formed on retina. retina is  a delicate membrane with light sensitive cells . the image formed is real and inverted. the light sensitive cells get activated on illumination and generate electrical signals which are sent to brain via optic nerves.
