An atom is made up of three fundamental particles, i.e, protons, neutrons and electrons.

Electrons revolve around the atom and the protons and neutrons are present in the nucleus of the atom that make up the total mass of the atom.

Leptons, Bosons and Quarks are the particles in the quantum physics but maybe you don't need to know about them now. Hope it helps.
