Bro no one will write all of it, but I can tell you the names...

Explanation:

Mouth - Oesophagus - Stomach - Small Intestine - Large Intestine - Anus

Glands Involved:

Salivary Glands(inside mouth), glands inside the walls of the stomach(u don't need definite names in class 10), Liver(Bile juice), Pancreas(Pancreatic juice), glands inside the walls of the small intestine( don't need definite names but one can always search the web)

Hope my answer helps.

If you have any doubt, then search on Google, 'process of digestion' and watch the videos available. It will clear your doubt.

Answer:

The parts of alimentary canal are: buccal cavity(mouth), oesophagus

(food pipe), stomach, small intestine, large intestine, anus. associated glands include salivary glands, liver and pancreas.

FUNCTIONS:

Salivary glands: secrete saliva which breaks down starch into sugars.

Food pipe: pushes down food into the stomach by movement of it's muscular wall. movement is called peristalsis.

Stomach: is a thick muscular walled bag. It's inner lining secretes:

Mucous: protects the lining of the stomach.

Hydrochloric acid: kills many bacteria that enters with food and makes the medium in stomach acidic for digestive juices.

Digestive juices: break down proteins into simpler substances.

Liver: secrets bile juice that is stored in gall bladder. bile juice plays important role in digestion of fats.

Pancreas: pancreatic juice breaks down carbohydrates, proteins and fats into simpler substances.

Large Intestine: absorbs salts and water from undigested food material.

Anus: The remaining waste material is removed through anus as semi-solid faeces.
