ANSWER:

The vegetative reproduction of potato takes place by the buds present on it and in Bryophullum it takes place with the help of leaf buds.

Option b

EXPLANATION:

Vegetative reproduction is a process that takes place in plants where new plants are formed by using the parts of plants other than the reproductive organs of the plants like leaf, stem, tissue etc. The offsprings produced are called as clones because they are exact copies of the parent plants. In potato the stem buds are present in the depressions of the potato and if it is left for some time then buds starts to grow from it, which is called as an eye of potato.

In Bryophyllum these buds are present on the linings of the leaves and if these leaves are kept in proper conditions then small buds starts growing from there and it can be cut into different pieces and then can be grown separately.
