Bile, required for the digestion of food, is secreted by the liver into passagesthat carry bile toward the hepatic duct, which joins with the cystic duct (carrying bile to and from thegallbladder) to form the common bileduct, which opens into the intestine

From liver the bile juice comes into the left and right hepatic ducts forming a common hepatic duct then, bile juice reaches the gall bladder where the juice is stored and concentrated. Then through cystic duct the juice is poured into the duodenum.
