Hey Friend,
1. Advance Sunrise - Atmospheric Refraction
Due to refraction of sun light through different layers of atmosphere, the rays of light travel through maximum length of the atmosphere, therefore refraction is also maximum. Hence, sun appears to be closer and is seen two minutes before the sunrise.
2. Colour of water in deep sea - Scattering of Light
Due to scattering effect of light, blue wavelengths are absorbed the least by the deep ocean water and are scattered, which are nearer to our eye and reflected back to our eye.
3. Twinkling of Stars - Atmospheric Refraction
Different layers of atmosphere are mobile and the temperature and the temperature and the density of layers of atmosphere changes continuously. The change in apparent position of star leads to a twinkling effect.
Hope it helps!
