The phenomenon where the female gamete directly develops into a new organism is called Parthenogenesis.

EXPLANATION:

This occurs in some plants species, some invertebrate, reptiles, rarely in birds. Turkey birds reproduces and develops in to fully developed organ without fertilization by parthenogenesis. This process is distinct from the 'artificial animal cloning', a process where a new organism is not necessarily 'genetically identical' to the parents hence this is naturally occurring process.
