Xanthophyll and Carotene are the pigment other than chlorophyll which can absorb sunlight energy.

EXPLANATION:

The sunlight energy of blue to green is absorbed by carotene and also by xanthophyll. The pigment xanthophyll and carotene is located inside the chloroplast organised in specialised structure called grana.
