leucoplast is the plastid which is colourless and is without any pigments.these are only meant for storage purposes
leucoplasts are of 3 types:
1. amyloplasts- stores starch eg: cereal,potato tuber
2. aleuroplast/ proteinoplast- stores proteins eg: aleurone layer of maize
3. elaioplasts- fats and oil storage eg: castor seeds,ground nut seeds
