Another name for poly-atomic ions is radicals. So the radicals present in the following substances are :-
a) Sodium Acetate ⇒CH₃COONa
Let us break our formula in parts :-
→ CH₃⁻¹ is a radical part
→ COO⁰ is a non-radical part
→ Na⁺¹ is a non-radical part

b) Aluminum Phosphate ⇒ AlPO₄
Let us break our formula in parts :-
→ Al⁺³ is a non-radical part
→ PO₄⁻³ is a radical part

c) Potassium Bicarbonate ⇒ KHCO₃
Let us break our formula in parts :-
→ K⁺¹ is a non-radical part
→ HCO₃⁻¹ is a radical part

d) Ammonium Hydroxide ⇒NH₄OH
Let us break our formula in parts
→ NH₄⁺¹ is a radical part
→ OH⁻¹ is a radical part

And we are done :)
