RECTANGLE OR PARALLELOGRAM.

let the polygon be ABCD.

And sides A :- (1,1)

B :- (6,1)

C:- (1,5)

D :- (6,5)

by using DISTANCE formula, we will get that answer.

AB :- √(x2 - x1)² + (y1 - y2)²

= √(6 - 1)² + (1 - 1)²

= √25 + 0

= 5cm

similarly in BD,CD,AC.

BD = 4 cm

CD = 5 cm

AC = 4 cm

hence, 2 opposite sides are equal.

so we will find its diagonals (by distance formula)

AD = √(6-1)² + (5-1)²

= 25 + 16

= 41

similarly in CB.

CB = 41.

HENCE IT IS A RECTANGLE OR

PARALLELOGRAM.
