Plants transform the light energy of the sun into chemical energy and the humans transform the heat energy of the sun into electricity using various methods. Plants require a green pigment called chlorophyll which absorbs the light energy and transforms it into chemical energy which is used to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen . This hydrogen combine with the carbon which is obtained from the decomposition of carbon dioxide ,absorbed by the plant through stomata, into carbon and oxygen. The oxygen molecule combine with the oxygen molecule that comes forms decomposition of water and forms an oxygen molecule which is released by the plant.

Now the hydrogen and carbon combined is called glucose and this the food of plant.
