Preoptic area of the anterior Hypothalamus is the main part of the brain that control the temperature of the body and especially in the peripheral parts of the body.

in case of high temperature the vessels dilate called vasodilation in which vessels dilate and heat moves out of the body and also sweating occurs.

in case of low temperature the vasoconstriction occurs in which the vessels constrict and the heat do not move out of the body and gets conserved.
